Comics 20000 Festival, April 22 & 23 2000AD CHILDRENS EVENTS As well as two days of exhibitions and displays, the following events will be taking place at The Watershed Media Centre and Jurys Hotel, The Waterfront, Bristol as part of the Comics 2000 Festival. These items are particularly suited to younger attendees. Children under 8 are admitted free (accompanied by one parent or guardian - further adults will need to buy a £3 Browser ticket). Pokemon - Free demonstrations + comics At Wizards Of The Coast's stand in the Comics Fair, there are demonstrations of Pokemon card game all weekend - absolutely free! And at Dynamic Forces' stand there are unique copies of the Pokemon comics, signed by the cartoon voice artists. Also the widest range of Pokemon toys, comics and memorabilia you've ever seen. |

Costume Parade Dress as any comic character you like. From Desperate Dan to Superman, from Judge Dredd to Dennis The Menace. Prizes to be won in all age ranges (open to adults as well as kids!) Led by costume designer Elaine Mace. All entrants get a free Fanboy ticket (worth £6). Comic Art Classes Run by the Comic Creators Guild (Saturday) and Joe Kubert Comic Art School students (Sunday). Artists and writers from all types of comics, including new Korky The Cat artist Paul Palmer and storyboard artists from Aardman animation will help you tell stories with pictures.
